Welcome, I’m Michelle

Whether I am leading a yoga class or absorbed in a silent forest bathing walk, my intention is to guide you to finding your own natural state of grounded connection.

This grounded connection - with the body, breath, energy, and the larger world around you - is the fertile ground from which your true inner wisdom, sense of peace and natural presence grows. And from there, freedom, joy, abundance and your own true nature can flourish. As more of us flourish, we can make this world a better place for all beings.

Through yoga, mindfulness, and meditation, we learn to slow down, connect with our breath, and find stillness in both body and mind.

These practices not only build strength and flexibility, but also help us release stress, cultivate presence, and return to a state of balance and inner peace. Regular practice can also connect us to the creative life force within us and all around us. It’s a beautiful way to care for yourself—on and off the mat. And when we care for ourselves and are living from a place of balance and inner peace, we are better able to care for those around us – our family, friends, community, and planet.

  • Michelle has vast knowledge, and she communicates it in a way that is very accessible.

I often felt like I could follow along with my eyes closed. She explained everything so well and helped us all make adjustments following verbal cues.

  • I love Michelle as a teacher!

She is very approachable and relaxed, and really clear about what we should be doing.

    —Yoga Student

  • Michelle is very thoughtful and wonderful at the craft of yoga.

She is very adaptable to those who are new or who may need to adjust a pose due to an injury. She creates a very comfortable atmosphere.

    — Student

  • One of the most impactful things I’ve learned from you is how to tune into my breath and listen to what my body needs.

This mindfulness has carried into my daily life—I find I’m more patient, more aware, and better able to manage stress. Your approach to teaching makes yoga accessible and meaningful, and I’d recommend your classes to anyone looking for strength, clarity, and a deeper connection to themselves.
