Dearest Students and Community:

As I write this, Valentine's Day is coming to an end — a special day to celebrate love in our lives, whether with a partner, children, best friends, pets, or your community. What a wonderful thing to celebrate with its own day: Love 💖

I want to extend my love and gratitude to all of you, my students and the yoga community in Athens County. Since 2009, it has been a gift to share yoga studios, rooms, and outdoor spaces with you. I have certainly learned from my teachers, but probably most importantly, I have learned from you — from your practices, your breath, your questions, and your willingness to grow. Thank you for showing up, being present, and making every class a shared experience.

As this new year opens, I see many opportunities for existing projects at home, new ones emerging, and travel. To make space for all of this, I have decided to take a hiatus from teaching regular weekly drop-in classes. These last two weeks of February will be my final classes for the near future — two more Monday evening classes at Serenity Roots and two more Wednesday noon classes at Middle Path. I taught my last classes for Village Productions this past week.

I plan to continue offering Yoga and Sound Baths with Kojun once a month, along with occasional workshops, pop-up classes, and mindfulness in nature practices. I'm also on the sub list everywhere I was teaching, so I may pop up! Since my schedule will vary, the best way to stay in the loop is to visit my website at michellegreenfield.com, follow me on social media and Eventbrite, and sign up for my newsletter (do this at the bottom of every page on my website) so you'll always know what's coming up.

Sending you so much love, from a heart that has grown exponentially through my time with you. 💖
